There are several locations within our grounds to say your ‘I do’s’, including the lovely landscaped gardens in the pasture overlooking the fantastic views or next to the gorgeous 25m lap pool.
Your guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks & canapés whilst wandering through the gardens admiring the stunning scenery.
There are plenty of wonderful locations for your wedding photo shoot within the property. Around the pool terrace, on the vine covered verandah, in the orchard, next to the post & rail timber fences & tree lined driveway or simply amongst some of the pretty flowering trees.
Only a 5 minute drive away is the township of Berry with its grand old historic buildings & charming cottages, rural country lanes, leafy parks, unique pubs; all making for endless photo possibilities.
We can cater for up to 100 guests, however we will consider more depending on the type of wedding you are hosting.

Please note the property must be booked for a minimum 3 nights if you are having your wedding on the property.
The property provides luxurious accommodation for a maximum of 12 guests in the 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. Quality linen and towels as well as a professional clean upon departure are included.
Specials do not apply for wedding bookings.
Ceremony Only Venue Fee: $800
You are welcome to bring your own decorations and furniture on site for a ceremony only with reception taking place elsewhere.
Maximum number of guests staying at the property may attend.
The event fee is calculated on the number of guests at your event and is separate to the cost for the accommodation:
0-40 guests = $4000
41-80 guests = $5000
81-100 guests = $6000

Equipment set up should take place on the day prior to the wedding & should be picked up on the day after the wedding.
There are no restrictions on caterers, photographers, wedding stylists etc but you should ensure that all third party contractors hold public
Buses and Parking
A bus or buses (max 40 seater) must be hired to bring guests to and from the property. A maximum of 5 cars only are permitted on site.
Noise / Council Restrictions
All commercial music must be lowered by 10pm and then turned off by 10.30pm. All guests, not staying at the house, must depart Hill End in a quiet manner by no later than 11pm.
On Site Accommodation
Please contact South Coast Holidays on +612 4234 2065 for an accommodation quote. The minimum stay for a wedding booking is 3 nights, although please note there is a 7 night minimum stay during the peak summer weeks and 4 nights over Easter and long weekends.
If you require a marquee, padoga or other structure for your event, we use a trusted & reputable hire company, please click below.
Note that structures are set up on the Thurs/Fri prior to the wedding & picked up on the Monday after the wedding (unless your wedding falls on an alternative day). The Marquees and Pagoda prices range from approx. $300- $2000 depending on style and size.
All other items within the marquee are the responsibility of the bride and groom to organize & book.
We let you plan and create your reception the way you want it. There are many options you could consider including a formal sit down reception, a buffet, a banquet, cocktail-style with canapes, a bbq, a spit roast or a combination of any.
There are a number of caterers in the area, whom we work closely with, who come onsite and prepare and serve all the food for you. You can choose a caterer from our list below of trusted service providers, or choose your own.
Hill End has some of the best views in the South Coast area. The property offers many unique locations for your photographic shoot. Any of the local photographers that we recommend also know the best nearby locations whether it be classic paddocks, ancient fig trees, coastal escarpments – whatever setting to capture the spirit of your day.
Hill End is not a licensed venue. You are able to supply your own alcohol and soft drinks at the property. We can supply you with competitive local suppliers details. We do not charge handling, storage or corkage. Bar staff can be arranged through your caterer or we can assist with contact details.

All rubbish must be removed after the function, including a complete search of rubbish in the gardens and across the whole grounds. Excess garbage removal fees will be charged and bond may be retained if this is not adhered to.
